About the Program

You’ll learn a range of skills and subjects as you get your career training. The Medical Assistant Technician program covers such subjects as medical front office procedures and clinical back office procedures. You will receive the foundational knowledge and technical skills needed to pursue entry-level employment in the health care industry in the Medical Assistant Technician Field. At the end of your program you’ll put your knowledge to work while you get on-the-job training in a 180-hour externship for a local employer.
