Congressman Derek Tran Delivers Keynote at UEI College Garden Grove Graduation
Pride and excitement filled the room on Friday as UEI College Garden Grove celebrated the achievements of its newest graduating class. Highlighting this major milestone, U.S. Representative Derek Tran served as the keynote commencement speaker, delivering a moving address that drew from his personal journey as the son of refugees to serving in Congress.
Congressman Tran, who previously visited the campus and has supported past ceremonies, presented every graduate with an official congressional letter of recognition on stage as they crossed to celebrate their achievement. District Director Cody Mendoza also joined the celebration to show community support for the graduates and their families.

Speaking directly to the career-ready graduates, Congressman Tran highlighted the vital role skilled professionals play across local communities:
