ABOUT UEI COLLEGE - BAKERSFIELD CAMPUS
The Bakersfield campus of UEI College wants to welcome you to our location. We are excited that you have not only chosen our campus but chosen to further your career skills and train for an in-demand career. As you do begin your journey here at our Bakersfield campus, you will find that we are here to support you along the way. Many of our programs can be completed in as little as 10 months, which fast tracks you towards your new career. We are proud to tell you that UEI College in Bakersfield is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) selected the UEI College Bakersfield campus for the 2019-2020 School of Distinction Award which recognizes commitment to delivering quality education programs to students.
One of the things that sets us apart from other career training colleges is that we make your entire learning experience personal. Our instructors greet each student by name, and we boast smaller class sizes and labs. Our student to teacher ratio is just 30:1. Our instructors pride themselves on being able to assist students and teach them as much as possible through book work and real-world experiences.
We are proud of the courses we offer here at our trade school campus in Bakersfield and our courses are known to challenge students but also provide them with the skills they need to be successful. You will gain hands-on experience that will assist you once you graduate from your chosen vocational program.
As a student at UEI College – Bakersfield, you can expect help from these teams along the way:
- Admissions Team: Students will meet with an admissions advisor to discuss enrollment into their chosen program. Student can also tour the campus and meet instructors.
- Financial Aid Team: Students can speak with a student finance team member to learn more about paying for their schooling. Our advisors will discuss loans, grants, scholarships, and more. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
- Career Services Team: Students can utilize the career services team to assist them in exploring additional opportunities, building their resume, and practicing interviews.*

I am proud to be the first person in my family that is going to graduate from college. After being the family black sheep who everyone thought would never go to school, I'm the one making bigger moves than any would ever think I'm capable of. It just so happened that my friend asked me to come to UEI with her to drop off some paperwork she needed to go to school here and she told me to apply. Once I met with an admissions rep (Yadira) everything came together. Next thing you know I was attending UEI the next month in the MBIC program. Now I’m almost done and it's just so crazy to think that just a few months ago I did not even want to go to school.
