The admission rep phone call inspired me to come to UEI, Carol C. I had many calls but hers was just different and made feel like family. UEI was my biggest blessing. I was encouraged to be a mentor on campus because amazingly I was not only meeting but exceeding the expectation. While working in the career center, 2 months before my extern I happen to be coming to work after class and an employer was interviewing with one of the career service leaders. He asked about me so I was introduced and offered an interview. I was hired the following week and am now already working for them while externship requirements are met. It’s only the beginning but UEI has given me a chance to change my life. I just needed a chance!

Medical Assistant, UEI College Chula Vista
At first, I wasn’t so sure if I was making the right decision to attend to UEI, but what blew me away was on my first day of school I felt very welcomed from the staff and students. What was most important to me was I noticed all of the staff showing that they care about the students’ attendance and education. After a couple of days attending, I started to see UEI as an opportunity to become successful and to start my career in the medical field.

What makes me #UEIPROUD is having such a wonderful instructor and supportive staff. All of the school administrators I have encountered are not only eager to help with any inquiries I have, but constantly remind me of how proud they are of me and how far I have come. My instructor, Mrs. Criollos, demonstrates a compassion for her students that extends far beyond her lectures, including also her efforts to keep the class fun, engaging, and motivating, by incorporating our real lives into what we are learning and what to look forward to in the future.
