Oceanside Graduation Celebrates Career Pathways with Assemblymember Laurie Davies
Graduates from UEI College in Oceanside proudly crossed the stage at the 2025 winter ceremony, supported by family, faculty, and community leaders who gathered to celebrate their achievements and bright futures.
Assemblymember Laurie Davies served as the keynote speaker, delivering an encouraging message that highlighted the value of career education and the role vocational training plays in strengthening California’s workforce. Her remarks affirmed the graduates’ decision to pursue hands-on, career-focused pathways.
“I’m a strong advocate for vocational schools,” Assemblymember Davies shared. “They are a powerful path to achieving the California dream.”
She emphasized how career training opens doors to stability and purpose, adding, “Career training is so important. It’s a pathway that allows you to establish yourself and begin building a meaningful career.”
Assemblymember Davies closed her remarks by recognizing the graduates’ commitment to their futures and the impact they will have moving forward. “We are celebrating the meaningful investment you have made in your future,” she said. “Your future starts now, and I believe in each and every one of you.”
In recognition of outstanding academic achievement, valedictorians received Certificates of Recognition from both Assemblymember Davies and Senator Catherine Blakespear—an honor that underscored the significance of the milestone.
