Rep. Dina Titus and Nevada Senator Julie Pazina Celebrate Graduates at UEI Las Vegas
Graduation day marked a major milestone for United Education Institute (UEI) Las Vegas, as students gathered celebrate their hard work, resilience, and career readiness. Adding to the energy of this standout ceremony, U.S. Representative Dina Titus and Nevada State Senator Julie Pazina joined as keynote speakers to share powerful messages of encouragement and community support.
Hands-On Training Built for Today’s Workforce
Congresswoman Dina Titus commended UEI’s practical training model and the essential role graduates play in powering the local economy:
“The United Education Institute has built a really excellent reputation in this community for helping with the issues of workforce development that are so critical to our lives and our livelihoods… One of the things about your program here that’s so unusual and so special is that you learn by doing. You don’t just learn it in a book. You learn by doing it yourselves. You develop the practical skills that you need, you solve real-world problems, and you gain that hands-on experience that’s just so critical and that employers are really looking for.”
She also emphasized the real-world impact of their chosen careers:
“It’s no secret that you are in great demand… We need more skilled people to help us move this community forward, and you will provide that workforce. People’s lives depend on the care that you give and the service that you provide.”
Courage, Resilience, and Unlimited Potential
State Senator Julie Pazina spoke directly to the determination required to start fresh and master a skilled trade or clinical discipline:
“The path that brought you here, the one that led you to UEI, to hands-on training, to mastering a craft or a clinical skill that this community desperately needs, that path takes a particular kind of courage. Many of you came to UEI after setbacks—a job that didn’t work out, a path that closed, a season of life that may have knocked you down.”
Senator Pazina closed with an empowering reminder of what lies ahead:
“Las Vegas runs on the skills that you now have. This city and your community have been waiting for you. Your credential is a foundation, not a ceiling.”
Surrounded by family, instructors, and community leaders, UEI Las Vegas graduates stepped into their next chapters fully prepared to make a tangible difference across the region.
