UEI Gardena Engages Students with a Creative Holiday Contest

UEI Gardena Engages Students with a Creative Holiday Contest - UEI College

Each year the UEI College Gardena campus engages students with a Holiday Door Decorating Contest. Instructors and students put their creative heads together to come up with the most festive, holiday-inspired classroom doors on campus.

For the 2018 holiday season, Gardena was filled with creative entries including a combination of gingerbread houses, holiday décor, and ornamentation. But the Medical Billing and Insurance Coding class took things to a new level with their winning entry. Ms. Silva and her students sculpted a scene from A Charlie Brown Christmas, including a three-dimensional replica of Snoopy on his dog house!

Dr. Gramling applauded Ms. Silva’s class for their outstanding creativity and bringing extra holiday cheer to the campus.  The students also hung individual stockings to give a special touch to the decorated door, making it feel just a little bit more like home.
