United Education Institute Expands to Houston with New Campus

United Education Institute (UEI), a leading provider of career education, is proud to announce the opening of its newest campus located in Houston, Texas (9945 Bissonnet St., Houston, TX 77036). This modern facility will offer hands-on training programs in high-demand fields, including allied health and skilled trades, to prepare students for thriving careers. The Houston campus is now accepting applications for students to start in August.

“Opening our Houston campus is a significant step in UEI’s commitment to delivering accessible, industry-aligned education,” said Christa Jones, Senior Vice President of Operations. “Houston’s vibrant economy and growing demand for skilled professionals in healthcare and trades make it an ideal location for UEI to empower individuals with the tools they need to succeed. We look forward to partnering with local employers to build a robust talent pipeline.”

United Education Institute is  accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and offers vocational programs designed to help students launch a new career in as few as 10 months. The Houston campus will provide comprehensive support services, including career services and job placement assistance, to ensure student success.

Initial programs to be offered at the Houston campus include Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Medical Billing & Insurance Coding in allied health, alongside Electrician Technician and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician in skilled trades. The 27,500-square-foot campus features 5,115 square feet of administrative space, three Medical Assistant labs, three Dental Assistant labs, three HVAC Technician labs, three Electrician Technician labs, modern classrooms, a Learning Resource Center, and a student lounge.

“Our modern labs are equipped with industry-standard equipment, technology and tools, creating a real-world learning environment,” Jones said. “Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students gain practical skills that align with employer needs, ensuring they are job-ready upon graduation. UEI’s curriculum is shaped by industry feedback, fostering confidence and competence for seamless career transitions.”

Houston’s labor market demonstrates a demand for these occupations, driven by rapid population growth and sector expansion. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics growth for dental assistants will exceed 13% from 2020 to 2030, outpacing the national 8% growth rate. The BLS also predicts that there will be 15% growth in demand for medical assistants as well, fueled by Houston’s healthcare hub status. BLS data shows that employment of electricians is projected to grow 11% and HVAC technicians by 16% by 2030, driven by Houston’s new construction.

“UEI is committed to addressing Houston’s workforce needs by training students for careers with strong growth potential,” Jones added. “Our programs align with the region’s economic drivers, from healthcare advancements to infrastructure development, ensuring our graduates contribute to Houston’s prosperity.”
