UEI’s career-focused trade programs offer hands-on training. These programs can help you take the first step in a new direction:
Electrician Technician
The Electrician Technician Program prepares students to work in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You’ll learn how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems while following safety codes and standards. Training covers wiring, circuitry, lighting, and troubleshooting.
HVAC Technician (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
In Southern California’s warm climate, HVAC technicians are important for maintaining comfortable environments. In this program, students learn to install, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems. UEI’s hands-on labs allow students to work directly with HVAC tools and equipment, so they are prepared for entry-level roles in the field.
Automotive Technician
If you love cars and enjoy problem-solving, the Automotive Technician Program is a great fit. Students learn to diagnose and repair engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems. UEI’s auto labs simulate real shop environments, allowing students to practice their skills on real vehicles under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Welding
Learn welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding, while also building skills in blueprint reading and metal fabrication. Welding supports major industries across SoCal, from construction to manufacturing.
