Pharmacy Technician Training Program

The Pharmacy Technician Program at UEI College is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on training needed for a career as an entry-level pharmacy technician.

This healthcare training program offers foundational instruction that prepares you for real work environments. The great thing about UEI’s program is that it can be completed in as few as 10 months, placing students on the fast track to becoming entry-level pharmacy technicians.

The program teaches students dosages and solution preparations, as well as medication preparation in sterile and non-sterile environments. The program does so by teaching students how to enter patient and prescription information into a system, prepare the medications, and dispense them.

UEI’s Pharmacy Technician Training Program prepares students for a rewarding pharmacy technician career in pharmacies, hospitals, retail stores, mail orders, and long-term care facilities.

Furthermore, the pharmacy tech program is hybrid, meaning that students receive online instruction and attend on-site classes for hands-on training and labs. So, if you’re interested in the healthcare industry, consider enrolling in UEI’s Pharmacy Technician Program.

Students also receive smaller, comfortable classrooms and labs that are set up to simulate the real-world environment that pharmacy technicians will work in. This allows students to become valuable team members on day one.

Moreover, the program teaches students common terms used in the industry while providing hands-on training across various pharmacy types, including retail, hospital, mail order, and long-term care pharmacies.
