About This Program
Billing and insurance coding teams play a critical role in the patient experience as well as in the success of any healthcare facility. If you’re looking for a new career that allows you to apply your skills as an organized, detail-oriented person who enjoys helping people, enrolling in the Medical Billing and Insurance Coding program at UEI College in Garden Grove may be a great move for you. Develop the knowledge and skills employers are looking for when filling entry-level healthcare and medical records positions. Led by instructors with real-world medical documentation experience, the classroom instruction and lab work will focus on learning billing systems, coding, office procedures, and basic medical law and ethics. This hybrid program provides you with the flexibility to learn from the comfort of your own home, as well as on campus with hands-on labs. Put your lessons to practice during your externship at a local employers’ office at the end of your program.
