Congressman Josh Harder Visits UEI College Stockton

U.S. Congressman Josh Harder toured UEI College Stockton’s hands-on training labs and met with students, instructors, and employers

UEI College Stockton was honored to welcome U.S. Congressman Josh Harder to campus, reaffirming his strong support for career education. Congressman Harder, who has spoken at two Stockton graduation ceremonies, continues to be a visible champion for vocational and career education students.

Joined by District Director Tiffany Dobson, Congressman Harder toured several of the school’s hands-on training labs. He observed students practicing injections in the Medical Assistant program, brazing techniques in HVAC, wiring projects in the Electrical Technician lab, and studying baby and adult teeth instructional charts in Dental Assisting.

Instructors across each program showcased how they provide students with daily guidance, technical training, and encouragement. The Congressman also visited Career Services, where he met Dr. Robert Lee, a local dentist who regularly hires UEI graduates. Dr. Lee emphasized that UEI prepares students with both the technical expertise and soft skills needed to succeed in entry-level dental assisting roles.

Congressman Harder’s visit highlighted the value of career education in Stockton and the vital role UEI graduates play in strengthening the local workforce.
