The 2025 winter graduation ceremony for UEI College in Huntington Park was elevated by the participation of two distinguished state leaders, as Senator Lena Gonzalez and Assemblymember Jose Solache virtually joined the celebration to honor the accomplishments of the graduating class.

Senator Gonzalez recognized academic excellence by presenting the valedictorian with a Certificate of Recognition, celebrating outstanding achievement and dedication. The honor reflected the hard work and perseverance that defined this year’s graduating class.

Assemblymember Solache delivered heartfelt video remarks in both English and Spanish, ensuring his message resonated with graduates and their families. He congratulated the Class of 2025 and emphasized the broader impact of their success on the community.

“I want to congratulate the incredible graduates of UEI College in Huntington Park, my district,” he shared. “Your hard work, resilience, and commitment to career education are building stronger families and a stronger Southeast Los Angeles.”

He also highlighted a milestone that carried special meaning for many in the audience, noting, “Many of you are the first in your family to graduate, and that is something to celebrate!”
