UEI College Riverside welcomed City of Riverside’s Mayor Pro Tem and Councilman Sean Mill to campus. Following his role as keynote speaker a recent UEI graduation ceremony, Councilman Mill was eager to learn more about the vocational programs UEI College offers right here in the heart of the city. The Councilman took a moment in the Electrician Technician lab to share encouraging remarks with students, commending them for their smart decision to pursue vocational education.
During the visit, he spoke with several students, including an HVAC student graduating today who already has a job lined up, and a Medical Assistant student who begins his externship next week. Both students shared glowing feedback about their experience at UEI. Councilman Mill also took the time to chat with Career Services and learned about their impact on helping graduates secure employment.
