Representative Imani Barnes delivered the commencement address at UEI Stone Mountain
Representative Imani Barnes delivered the commencement address for United Education Institute (UEI) Stone Mountain.
Rep. Barnes is on the Georgia Assembly Higher Education Committee and has been supporter of UEI since she first met UEI graduates at last summer’s graduation. She also visited the Stone Mountain campus in her district last summer. UEI was very happy to hear her inspiring messages for our graduates once again.
A few highlights of her speech this year were:
- “UEI has prepared you for critical careers…these careers are the backbone of our state’s economy”
- “Georgia’s growth and prosperity depends on the skilled professionals like you are about to become”
- “We need more of you, your skills are more in demand than ever”
- “I visited the HVAC and Electrician class, and they didn’t care if I was in there or not because they were so focused on the lesson, I was cool with that because that’s how passionate I saw that you were, and I appreciated that visit”
UEI extends our heartfelt thanks to Rep. Barnes for inspiring graduates as the keynote speaker at graduation.
