In this module, the student will learn the basic responsibilities of the medical assistant and the duties performed by them on the job. Externship provides a realistic workplace environment where students refine technological, procedural, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. Students apply classroom training at approved facilities under supervision. Satisfactory completion is required for graduation. Prerequisite: Successful completion of modules 110-170.
