About This Program
If you’ve always been drawn to cars — working on them at home and even admiring the mechanics and craftsmanship of both classic and modern automobiles — then perhaps it’s time to consider a new career in the automotive field. The Oceanside Automotive Technician trade program at UEI College can help you realize this dream of a new career by teaching you the knowledge and skills you need to get noticed by future employers in both parts and servicing. Get to know engine theory, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs as they relate to the various systems critical to a car’s performance. The automotive program is a mix of online classes and on-campus lab training so you can put those new skills to practice using real tools and real cars just like the professionals! Get your hands dirty through hands-on training with experienced instructors in UEI’s automotive shop. Best of all, you can complete this program in as few as 10 months!
