Assemblymember Maggy Krell Inspires UEI College Sacramento Graduates

Assemblymember Maggy Krell inspired UEI College Sacramento’s Class of 2025 with a keynote address celebrating achievement

On October 10th, the 2025 graduating class of UEI College Sacramento received a powerful message of encouragement and pride from Assemblymember Maggy Krell, who delivered the keynote address during the campus’s commencement ceremony on Friday.

Representing California’s 6th Assembly District and serving on the Assembly Business & Professions Committee, Assemblymember Krell shared words that resonated deeply with graduates embarking on their new professional journeys.

“It’s truly an honor to join you for such a special occasion to celebrate the Class of 2025,” Krell began. Her remarks challenged graduates to reflect on their growth, resilience, and limitless potential.

“Think back to a time when you surprised yourself — by achieving something you wouldn’t have thought you could do,” she said. “How would you describe yourself next?”

Encouraging graduates to define success on their own terms, Krell added, “Where will you take yourself? You get to decide. I can see a room full of people on the path to success.”

She closed with a reminder of the essential role UEI graduates will play in their communities:

“As you enter the workforce, you’ll be standing on the shoulders of generations of working men and women who built this country, who helped keep people fed and helped keep people healthy. That’s what you’re becoming a part of.”

Her remarks drew warm applause from students, families, and faculty — a fitting tribute to a class that exemplified determination, transformation, and hope for the future.

Congratulations to the UEI College Sacramento Class of 2025!
