Tacoma Councilman Sandesh Sadalge Visits UEI College

Tacoma Councilman visited UEI College praising students while highlighting the school’s vital role in workforce education

Just two weeks after delivering an inspiring speech at UEI College Tacoma’s fall graduation ceremony, Tacoma City Councilman Sandesh Sadalge visited the campus for a personal tour. Moved by the achievements of graduates and the energy of the event, he said he wanted to come and see the campus in person.

During the visit, he spent a lot of time engaging directly with students and instructors. He spoke about the importance of strong attendance, the community impact of skilled careers, and the life-changing role teachers play in shaping futures.

At Tacoma’s recent graduation, Councilman Sadalge also left students with powerful words that captured the spirit of UEI’s mission:

  • “You didn’t just complete a program today, you built a foundation for a better future!”
  • “I had a chance to talk to a few UEI leaders and I was absolutely impressed. Your workforce education is practical, hands-on, and it opens real doors!”
  • “This city values each and every one of you… people like you who get things done, people like you who are willing to learn, with the courage and tenacity to move yourself forward. You should be proud of yourself!”
