About This Program
Do you love working with your hands, and solving problems that help people live comfortably in their homes? Consider training for the high-demand career of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) at UEI College in Gardena. In our HVAC program, you will learn from career professionals in the HVAC field about how to maintain, diagnose, fix and install heating and cooling systems in people’s homes and businesses. A mix of online classes and two lab days on campus a week can prepare for important certifications for HVAC professionals: (1) the EPA Section 608 Certification (required for graduation) for stationary air conditioning and refrigeration, and (2) the Low GWP Refrigerant Safety Certification, which is not required but highly recommended to enhance industry readiness. And it’s possible to complete the program in as little as 10 months!
