About This Program
If you're interested in becoming a medical assistant, consider enrolling in UEI’s Medical Assistant program at our Houston campus. In as few as 10 months, you’ll learn to provide direct patient care and support clinical teams with a full range of responsibilities—from scheduling, billing, and check‑ins to performing tests, managing infection control, administering injections, and taking blood draws. UEI’s Medical Assistant program lays the educational groundwork you need to launch a new, entry-level career in healthcare.
As part of UEI’s healthcare program lineup, this curriculum is structured with a hybrid learning format—online coursework complemented by hands-on, in-person lab sessions, plus a clinical externship to reinforce real-world readiness
